Ride the Historic Seattle Bike Path on its 125th Anniversary!
A guided ride with guidebook author and PNA Board member Bill Thorness
Start location: Denny Park
Ride distance: 16 miles
Ride difficulty: moderate, with a few hill climbs (walking the hills is smiled upon)
This afternoon tour, on city streets and bike trails, will loop through central Seattle, visiting many parks, sights and attractions. You will ride the original path, still not open to cars, and enjoy Bill's stories of The Halfway House, Ye Olde Bike Cop, Six Day Races, The Park Bought for Cyclists, Homer's Bridge. Ticket sales are a donation to the PNA and our vital community programs and services.
All ticket purchasers are entered to win a copy of ‘Biking Puget Sound’ signed by Bill! Ticket sales end June 17th.
NOTES:
- Adult riders only
- Bike helmets & signage of waiver required for all cyclists
- You must provide your own bike; ebikes are also welcome!
- Tickets are nonrefundable
