Do you want to learn Spanish but don't know how or when to start? Join us and learn Spanish in a relaxed environment near your home, and start using the language beginning day one. This class is taught by an experienced native Spanish-speaking teacher who will encourage and guide students to have a meaningful learning experience.
From the instructor: I am from Lima, Peru and I have been teaching Spanish since 2001. I came to Seattle in 2008, and soon after arriving I taught Spanish to children for some time at the PNA. In April 2010, we started the first Spanish program at El Centro de la Raza in Beacon Hill. In 2013, I was invited to teach Spanish and then Translation at Bellevue College. In 2015, I began to teach Spanish at Seattle Colleges. Almost as soon as I came to Seattle, I got to visit the PNA and fell in love with the building and the neighborhood. I taught Spanish to children there at the PCPE during the spring of 2015. Phinney Ridge was my neighborhood for 9 years and now I still live nearby. After speaking with a student who worked at the PNA, I thought about offering classes here and here I am! ¡Que comience la clase!
